We were so excited that Friday was finally here...the day of our Pow Wow. We have learned about the Lenape tribe, practiced our dances, and had our attire ready to put on. After the the ceremony, students enjoyed a day of activities including: music, art, taste-testing and outside activities. The day was superior in every way and one that the children will remember for a long time. To read more about our Pow Wow and the history behind the event visit timmonstimes.blogspot.com

What a fabulous tradition! Price thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Lenape tribe. I love all the pictures. They really capture how precious this event is. Thank you for creating such wonderful memories for us all!
ALL of us loved the Pow Wow!!! What a wonderful event you all put together to educate and celebrate Native American culture. It warmed my heart to see the students learning in such detail about this country's native people. Special thanks to Lourdes Smith for getting us involved. I don't think kindergarten could get better!
The Lenape Little Ones looked AWESOME in their costumes. Sofi was so proud, she even wore it out in public.
The Wigwam outside was AWESOME too! Sofi really loved reading in it.
